We frequently collaborate with evolutionary biologists to deeply understand the consequences of behaviours. We identified the reproductive benefits of sexually satiated male fly using mathematical modeling with Dr. Chang-Ku Kang at Carleton University. We are also communicating with Professor Ehab Abouheif who is CRC of Evo-Devo at McGill University to create possible collaboration to study the genetics of ants.
Most of all, we recently initiate the collaboration with Professor Catherine Plowright who is studying the behaviour of bumble bee in Department of Psychology, uOttawa. We expect this collaboration can build genetics of bumble bee near future.
